when you wear a shirt and if you put your hands to your side and your finger tips down do you the down of the shirt its way to short and if you butt is hanging out that sick and shirt put more clothes on know one wants to see that **** hang out......

Oh I have seen some that were WAAAAY shorter than that! If you are a young mother with active toddlers, I think you should try to cover your hindparts up. I mean it's obvious that you can and do have sex, the kids are hanging off of you, the mother often has to bend down or over and if I can see fur, then the skirt is WAAAAY too short for good sense! I don't say you have to wear sweats all the time, but get the skirt down far enough that when you have to bend over you ain't showing everybody your buttocks or panties or lack of panties! I have to tell you, I am not all that happy to see the butt cheek shorts back in the stores, it's just NOT a good look for some women, but they come in ALL sizes...sometimes you can be more attractive if the man is not able to check out your merchandise BE4 he knows your name! I think some girls look good in the short shorts and mini skirts but if I look at it, and it looks back, that's TOO SHORT! Take my word for it, when people see all of that they are talking behind the gal's back and it's not about how hot or sexy she is! My own husband will say she looks like she wants another baby, she's got a neon sign on...and I look and see her la la looking back! Uh leave a little something to the imagination! If you are a young mother you will have to bend over or lean over to tend to your children at some time and when you do, people are not seeing or saying what you would hope! :-(
Just my opinion and I think I speak for some men who would rather not see everything before they know your name! Some situations like going to a club or partying, but taking your toddlers to McDonalds with your goods a'showing is not going to catch the right kind of feller, you will only find some man who wants to use you and throw you away! Above the knee fine, above the butt cheeks is just too much information, don't you think? I know that a little modesty and self respect is ok (even nice) in a young lady!

A short skirt starts at about 4 to 5 inches above your knees.

6 inches above the knee or higher would be a short skirt.

I heard when you put your arms down by your sides. And if the bottom of the skirt is touching the tips of your fingers your good. Anything higher is to short.
