Also Cathy Duffy's "100 Top Picks for Homeschooling" is a good resource and her book "Christian Home Educators' Curriculum Manual" is GREAT for showing you what you need to know about what your children should be learning.
Also try www.edhelper.com their site has lots of free downloads for every grade & subject and for 19.95 a yr. you get access to everything. I highly recommend it. I just started with it & its GREAT too !!
Homeschooling your children is giving them the best you can give them. YOU have control of what they learn & how they learn it. Your morals & values are taught to them. Studies show that homeschooled children actually do better in "the real world" than their conterparts who have gone to public school.
Also for those of you interested in college for your homeschooled kids, look into Patrick Henry College, in Purcellvile, VA. It is a college for Christian Homeschooled kids.
