You would need an external TV tuner (channel selector) to connect to the TRV460E. These are not usually found except as part of a TV monitor / receiver, VCR, or DVD recorder. You connect the audio and video output jacks from your tuner device to the A/V inputs on the camcorder. Then you would need to activate the audio / video inputs on the VTR section and use the VTR record button to control the recording.

Your camcorder must have Audio/Video Input to record TV shows. (but I don't think it has)
So if it has A/V input, connect your TV Video out (i mean that yellow component) into your Video In on your camcorder. And for the sound connect that Red and White components (Stereo Audio) into the Audio Input. Then push the record button.
I say it again that i don't think your camcorder has any Input component!

If it doesn't tell you, then maybe you can't and should consider buying a VCR.

Here's a tip that might help... point the camera at the TV and start recording. Maybe that will do it.
