I know a guy, that I had a crush on(found out he's gay...he found out I like him, blah, blah, blah) Anyway, he said it was ok for us to be friends, and that It would be ok if we hung out sometime..Yay!! The last time( last friday) I talked to him he told me not to be friends with a girl we both work with because she's bad news..I told him I thought so too, I just wasn't sure.. anyway he is confusing me so bad because one minute he talks to me and jokes with me, but tonight he wouldn't even look at me!! I said hi and bye to him, but I feel like he was avoiding me( though he told me he isn't) I mean, our last conversation ended on a good note...The crush is old news, so why does he do this??

Maybe he's confused? My husband had a close friend that was a lesbian. At first before she really was one he told her he liked her. She didn't want to go out with him. At first she acted weird then it went back to being the way it was before. They were friends. When I came into the picture she didn't want to hang out with him very much. I tried to tell my husband that I thought she really did like him but he said no. Before we got married they went to dinner together, she asked him "Was there anyone you ever wish you would have dated but didn't?" He could tell she was baiting him and then realized she really did like him. He gave her a list of people he went to school with but never said her. After that she's talked to him only once since we've been married. She hasn't called and it has really hurt him because they were friends for many years. My advice to you would be to get a boyfriend, don't worry about him anymore. It sounds to me like you are in the same situation my husband was in. Good Luck! = )

he thought it was his duty to reassure you and support you emotionally during the transition from your crush to your friendship with him.
knowing you are stable and secure, he has become bored with your company.
give him some space.
