Longleat is great but Woburn Safari Park is also fantastic. Its a great day out and there is plenty to entertain children as well as interesting guides for adults. All the animals are kept wonderfully and its much easier to imagine them in their natural environment instead of been couped up in a small cage in a zoo. :)

I would agree with the others who say Longleat. There are acres and acres of land to roam about in, for both the animals and the visitors.

Chester Zoo is the best I have been to, but the Welsh mountain Zoo was good as well.

Longleat. Has anyone else had a tour of the house? Apart from being completely untalented, that guy is a nut.

You know, I really liked the Colchester Zoo better than the London Zoo. It has my vote!

Definately Dublin - I know it doesn't count really - but its not too far!!

I live near Chester, its ok, but Dublin beats it hands down.
