I was told that there is an article in Forbes, May Issue, that shows specifically that "Christians are Healthier and Happier". I have searched Forbes archives as well as www. keepmedia.com (which archives ALL magazine articles). Yet, when I do a complete, detailed search all I come up with is the Business side of religion (Of course, Forbes is a Business Magazine, mainly for Entreprenuers). But since this person seemed confident, I wanted to read the article myself. If anyone has any idea where I can find this, please e-mail me.

This is what I got when I did the search though... I thought it was rather amusing.

Should be healthy... and definitely ARE Healthy are 2 different things though. And I asked for an article in Forbes Magazine... not Scripture from the Bible. But Thanx anyway.

Bookish... thank you. I spent half an hour doing different searches on Forbes, using different words for the search in order to bring up anything that remotely looked like what this guy told me in e-mail. I rather liked his "read and weep" at the end of his message too.

I am using an online subscription database that indexes Forbes. The only thing I can find in the May issue has to do with a billionaire named Philip Anschultz who "got religion" and started making family-friendly movies, like Chronicles of Narnia. He's now caught up in a lobbying scandal involving gambling. (Also amusing, huh? Gimme that old time religion, and all your money, while you're at it.)
Searches for any other articles in Forbes about Christians being healthier have turned up nothing.

The Bible contains scriptures on Health and Healing.
So it makes sense that Christians should be healthy.

I'm afraid I don't know the articale but I will give you a relevent quote from George Bernard Shaw:

"The fact that a believer is happier than a skeptic is no more to the point than the fact that a drunken man is happier than a sober one"

Pertinent, don't you think.

Wish I could help you Dude, but don't have a clue. I have heard stuff like that from various people in the past, and yes it makes sense.

Haven't you ever heard the saying "IGNORANCE IS BLISS"?
Those who refuse to think for themselves, or make their own decisions have no stress, therefore they have less chance of dying from it.
