It is unbelievably hard. First of all make sure you have straight As and A*s in your GCSE or don't even go anywhere near medical school. Then keep in mind that for every 7 people applying only one gets a place in uni,so you have stiff competition. It really is a dog eat dog world out there. SO BEWARE. Even with straight As at AS don't get too excited...because that won't by any means guarantee you a place.Most other applicants do.Your up against the best of the country.some with 7As at A-level.Then there's the whole mad world of personal statements and interviews and entrance exams and they want to see your hobbies and work experience and every single second of your academic life is under scrutiny. Trust me if your not 100%determined to be a doctor don't go anywhere near the root of medicine. It'll all end in tears.

Very confusing because of the fact there are purely 28 medical faculties contained in the U. S.. It relies upon at this methodology. the main element recruiters look at is the MCAT. in case you excel on the MCAT and have reasonable grades, like a three.4 and above, then you definitely are set. in case you do no longer do properly on the MCAT then your probability is very slender. P.S. Have a backup plan merely in case.
