Christianity is supposed to accept everyone. Even though it may or may not approve of all that we do. None of us follow perfectly.

Yes we do! We should try to accept all people no matter what their sins are. But the fact that we accept them doesn't make it right though. I don't think a person is born gay, it is either something that went wrong in your childhood or a conscious choice.

Well homosexuality has been proven to be genetic which means God made them that way (yes yes there are exceptions to every rule but shush) so it is wrong to hate or exclude them for being gay. Only evidence that it is wrong is in a dusty book written by people who wandered around in sand because they couldn't figure out how to move to a better place...FYI people who follow bible blindly are placing bible above God..God can't be put in a book, and just because a book says it is ok to hate someone for way they were born doesn't make it ok. Before you scream about God's word please accept the 1 fact about bible..IT WAS WRITTEN BY MEN NOT GOD..hence God never said homosexuality was wrong..and any claim God did is a lie
Christ taught about tolerance and inclusiveness..however his "church" changed the message to one of exclusiveness and intolerance.
Answer is Religion does NOT accept but God does

I am a Christian and I accept everyone who loves God. It is not up to me to judge and I don't. Some people are born gay and some people choose the life style.

We accept anyone, being gay is between you and God. Maybe God made gays to test us on how we would treat them? The bible is cleary against homosexuality, but also very clear on how to respect the human race as it is. If you won't reach out to a gay, then are you really following Jesus' teachings?

Our God and creater dose not exept Practicing Gays. It Is the practice of homosexuality and Lesbianisim that runs completly against His design. Stemming from an internal illness / an inbalance. That person can over come the temptation of his/her own flesh by by making a descision and nailing it to the cross of Christ, the door will be thrown open and Christ will welcome him/her in .I have my own faults to over come, you have yours, and they have theres. You have so much to offer the gay world if you over come it.
From my observations a practicing gay can be born,or made
by lifes events.. It must be a terrible illness to deal with.

Jesus says to love the sinner but hate the sin. God says that homosexuality is a sin, in fact God calls it an abomination. God calls us to resist sin, to flee from it. So as Christians we need to love Gay people and help them and encourage them to not exercise their gay feelings. Sin is about choice. A choice to do what is right or willfull disobedience. God says if you love me, keep my commandments. It is impossible for us to be perfect all the time. But as we grow closer to God we are convicted of our sin and turn from it. Homosexuality even in the field of psychology was considered deviant behaviour up until the last 40 years. Then they changed that. The Bible says that in the last days people will be saying that evil is good and lies are truth and we see this all over the place right up to the highest levels of government. The Word of God is our roadmap to succesful living on this planet and communion with God through Jesus. We don't have to and cannot be perfect to be a Christian. Jesus paid the price for our sin and we are all in a different spot in our journey to reunion with Jesus in Heaven. We are here to encourage and admonish our fellow Christians in the Faith and grow stronger in Faith and sanctification of our souls in Christ Jesus.

The church that I as brought up in does not approve of "gay sex" so if you were a person who practises same sex, then they would not approve of that behaviour. It is not about the person, but how they behave and act. If they stopped practising gay sex then they would be accepted into the church, but only as long as they lived their life as a hetro-sexual person. Please no one send me preachy emails, I did not make up those rules, and I no longer practise that religion, I left 8 years ago.

I think being gay is a choice, otherwise you are saying that God made a mistake, or created someone that he would hate. God makes no mistakes. sin takes you further than you want to go, and I think that through their own sins or lusts or perhaps through an injustices done to them, being gay is a product of that.
