I went out last night and i saw my ex. He had a pool match and later when i got home i txted him askin if he had won the game. We had a good convo and he said if was free to meet so we could save money by txting. He then send he was lieing and that he wanted to meet cuz he liked the way i looked last night and that i looked nice and asked me who i was seeing. I said that im not seeing anyone and that i didnt make any more or any less effort than i normally do and that i looked the way i always looked. He then said it must just be him, what does he mean by this? Also he now has a new girlfriend and as soon as this convo started showin signs of him wantin me there and then he said goodnight. How does he really feel?

He don't want you, he's just checking in to see if you've cut him loose. If you're still interested in him he feels you can't do better and he feels vindicated. If you show your not interested or tell him there is someone else, he'll be jealous (to some degree) and feel duped he's not the center of your needs. Don't let him play this game with you, always tell him there is someone else even if there isn't. He either won't be able to stand it and get back with you because he feels if someone else wants you he must be missing something; or he'll leave you alone if he truly isn't interested and let you get on with your life.

This is easy...he wants his cake and eat it too. He wants to make sure you are not with anyone cuz he still has feelings for you at least a little bit but he wants to be with someone else. Play is game better than he can next time the situation comes up tell him you are meeting someone later that night even if your not but make it a different spot than where you are at with him. Then he will try to call you later that night to ruin it with your new date (which you made up) so when he calls don't answer or answer laughing and tell him you have to call him back you are busy. I know it will be hard but you can do it. Good luck.

Wants to see if he can't set you up on his booty call reserve list.
Tell him the conversation was a bit more intimate than you would consider friends should have, and that you won't talk to him again, unless he's single.
If he wants you, for more than just a little bit of booty, he'll ditch his girl, before he tries to get with you.

You probably had good chemistry when you were dating him, good physical and emotional times . . . you don't know what you've got til it's gone. Sounds like he was thinking back to the good ol' days when you were dating. He may've cut it short due to something that started to come up in the conversation, perhaps something that caused the rift in the first place.

i think he jst wants u to be in his bed ! dont take much notice of him and keep looking good and enjoy ur life ! jst take it as compliments about what he says to u ! and dont think bout it too much !
