You need to eat more low GI foods. GI stands for Glycaemic Index. They fill you up for longer.

Examples could be...
Apples, oranges, pears, peaches, beans and lentils, durum wheat pasta, sweet potato, sweetcorn, porridge, noodles or wholegrain cereals.

Here's a good link http://www.weightlossresources.co.uk/diet/gi_diet.htm

And remember the golden rule is...
Consume less calories than you burn
~or~
Burn more calories than you consume

It's better to measure yourself in inch loss rather than weight loss, and you're more likely to lose it and keep it off if you lose it slowly. Lose weight too quickly and your body can think that there's a food shortage and when you start eating more normally it will convert any left-over calories to fat as a survival technique.

Good luck hon - you can do it!

The first thing to do is cut out the fast (or as I call it "fat") food breakfasts. Do you realize how much saturated fat is in even a breakfast burrito from McD's? It's not pretty. Get some things for your house that you can fix relatively quickly...instant oatmeal (if you have to have flavored, that's fine), whole grain waffles and lite or sugar free syrup, whole grain bread for toast, natural sugar free preserves and natural (no sugar added) peanut butter, turkey bacon (can fix in the microwave), you can even get microwaveable South Beach and other brand breakfast foods to pop in the microwave and go. If you really want your old body back you have to be willing to make the changes necessary to do it. If you can afford it from the money you'll be saving from not eating fast food breakfast, join a gym. If not, get some dumbbells or resistance tubing, a stability ball and maybe even some exercise DVD's and start working out at home. You can work out up to 6 days a week, leaving one day to let your body rest and recover. You can do it! Good luck!

I know your situation, i was like you. One time i have lost 22 pounds and i was so happy and every one said to me how good i look like.. But i miss the fast food and day by day i was eating fast food, like junk food.. Then all my weight that i lost was coming back and know i' m feeling terrible.. No one wants me.. Day by day i' m getting fat.. But i decided to stop eating fast food and eating healthy and less, fruits, water, salads this are the best.. Trust me.. And the most important for a good body is the exercise but not to get tired but you have to enjoined.. My every day exercise is dancing, hearing music and move your body the way you like is so fan.. Even i dance alone in home.. Find what you need to eat & eated less and put some music to dance or play something, like volleyball, football or basketball.. I hope it helps you.. I'm feeling much better this way and don't worry about your weight soon or later we bouth will have the body we are dreamind..

Keep your morning breakfast or lessen it. Have much less in lunch and dinner. No more snacks. Drink water a lot. Do tae bo in the afternoon.
I hope that will be fast enough. You can still be healthier but less stout.
A better diet program can be given if you have provided your height, too.
Your present weight is needed to assess your nutritional status.

As long as your healthy, you shouldn't worry about your weight too much. Be comfortable with who you are and what you look like. If you fix your image, you will just find another thing to worry about. If you do want to lose weight for health then find a sport that you enjoy. Don't go the the gym just to loss weight because you will just get sick of it. Go out and play a team sport with some girlfriends and enjoy life. Its toooooo short. Eat anything you want but remember to eat in moderation.
Good luck

It's easy to get "comfortable" in a relationship. Drink LOTS of water or decaf tea (unsweet), especially 1/2 hour before AND after meals. I am a huge fan of fruit. I like to take plenty to work for when I get the urge to snack. Go for walks in the pm with a friend. It's a great moral booster!

Good luck!

well you need to cut out the fast food that has so many calories...and exercise all you can...use every excuse you can to work more exercise into your day...you are right you do not want to get obese and at 21 you do not want to live your life that way because of health problems and just the fact that it does bother you...i know i use to be anorexic and then bulimic...i now just do not eat fattening foods and i really watch what i eat...but i am not anorexic and bulimic anymore...these are really dangerous to get into and can do the body serious damage...the only thing you can do is really cut out fats and high calories food of any kind...try not to eat to much meat either...and get plenty of exercise...

Write a log of your food habits and change them slowly, increase your exercise instead of waking up in the morning to breakfast go for a brisk walk and eat plenty of fruit and vege.
Remeber the way your going is to an early grave is that a trigger point for you.

LOVE YOURSELF BEFORE YOU CAN LOVE SOMEONE ELSE.

First thing first. Figure out how your body works. Get a book that is hands down outstanding. Protein power. Its written by 2 doctors and has recipes in it.

It will show you everything you need to do/know to get back on track.
