No--marriage is a sacrament meant for a man and woman to create a family.

No, it wouldn't be disgusting. They should be allowed to marry because they are treated so differently by other people. It would be a new normal for people. Some people say that marriage is defined as a man and a woman joined together. We can change that definition. Other people say its disgusting. GET OUT FROM UNDERNEATH THAT ROCK! It's not disgusting. It's different. And if you can't accept change, then maybe you shouldn't be living at all because in life, you must accept change. Other people say it's bad for their kids. Well, half those kids are probably gay! This will give them the idea that they aren't different and that it's okay if they don't feel the same way as their straight friends. They don't have to marry a woman if they don't want to. Homosexuality isn't a choice. You're born with it. Don't be so quick to judge a group of people your ignorent mind knows absolutely nothing about. You must have been brainwashed by narrow-minded homophobic republican christian conservatives. DO NOT LISTEN TO THEM! Homosexuals aren't going to hell. I don't even think that there is a such place as hell. The U.S.A. is being ruled by christians! What ever happened to freedom of religion, people?!?!? NOT EVERY U.S. CITIZEN IS A CHRISTIAN! WHY SHOULD THEY HAVE TO LIVE BY THEIR RULES?!

I think that homosexuals should have the same rights that married people have. If a loving couple is together for 40 years and one is in the hospital, his partner should be allowed to make the same kinds of decisions that a spouse would make.
I think a gay couple should be able to have a ceremony where they declare their committment to one another.
They should be able to enter into contracts as a couple.
When one dies, the partner should become the heir in the event that there is no will.
I don't care if it is called marriage or not -- they should have the right to do it. And if they want to call it a marriage, it doesn't bother me.
As for it being disgusting -- I personally find the idea of the male homosexual act disgusting -- but find nothing disgusting about two people who love each other making a committment to each other. That is what family values is all about.

To quote Kinky Freidman, they should be allowed to be as miserable as the rest of us. ;)
Many people quote the Bible as being a reason to prohibit homosexual marraige. Yet, marraige isn't limited to people who follow the Bible - atheists can get married, Hindus, etc. There's a difference between a particular religion's ceremonies (which they do have the right to decide who can participate), and the secular contract (which should be religion nuetral.)
In short, if Christians want to prevent homosexuals from having a Christian wedding, more power to them. Go for it. It's within your religion's rights. But at the same time, the secular contract (with all of the trappings, such as filing taxes, sharing insurance, and being granted hospital access) should be allowed without issue.
In terms of disgusting - lots of people do disgusting things, from picking their nose to putting anchovies on their pizza. As long as it's not hurting anybody, it shouldn't be an issue of law.

Marriage is a contract a pledge between two or more individuals - - - if that is what two or more people want, why not - - - Marriage celebrates Love and if two people love each other, why not. What would be disgusting - - - unless that whole monogamy things is bothering you. Expect you like multiple male partners and cannot understand why someone would limit themselves to just one soul mate. But heck, it is their call - - - you can keep squatting on the low wall behind the 7-11 with your mouth open. Peace.

ABSOLUTELY not!! I don't mind if they are "together" but I would rather not see them married. The heterosexual people have a hard enough time trying to get insurance coverage for them and the last thing we need is homosexuals marrying and also fighting cause they want a "family" plan of insurance....I mean c'mon!! Does a homosexual HAVE TO get married to be happy with the person they are with??

Leave the gays alone, let them get married. they deserve to be as miserable as the rest of us. Besides, they don't breed like rutting weasel immigrants from Cathoholic countries.

I think they should have a life commitment ceremony than marriage. It would suit them better than marriage. But I don't think it'll be disgusting, when two people love each other.
