Hey Looking for ...,

I did not find very much, no families with the same name. There is a Greek Orthadox church with Andrew Farusi listed. Someone co-authored a paper on Microwaves named A. Farusi.

The third site shows a Giacomo Casanova ran away with Zanetta Farusi, the beautiful daughter of a Venetian shoemaker.

The last site is The memoirs of Jacques Casanova de Seingalt 1725-1798

Then there is a scientist, a Chemistry teacher Gianluca Farusi explains how he used two Italian Renaissance paintings to delve into the chemistry of pigment extraction and the physics of forensics. Perhaps you could contact him.

Apparently, not many Farusi families.

That sounds like a mediteranian [Italy etc] name. They all end in vowels, where as English, Dutch, and Irish all end in consonants.
