Ahh! I need help finding a driver for my modem!?

Question

Heh, I was stupid enough to accidently throw away the CD and then reformat my computer... Anyway, I need to download the driver and be able to transfer it (via flash drive) to my other computer, the one that needs it. Here's as much as I know about the modem...

That's all it says... Anyway, its a 56 kb/s phone line modem with just an input and an output port.

*Yes, I know I can find it at windows update, but I can't go to windows update on teh computer that needs it sicne I would have to be on the internet to go there and the problem is preventing me from going on the internet!*

Well I can go ahead and downlaod it on my other computer (this one). Party of one? Sounds boring...

BTW, I thought of that but I cant seem to find anything, that's why I asked the question.

First u donot provide ur os version.I assume u have win-xp.
1. plugin ur modem-connect phoneline-> open control panel.
--> open phone& Modem option -> click on modem--click add---check donot detect my modem---click a next--- select standered modem type --select 56000 bps model --next -finish.
Now select the modem on phone & modem opton --click propety -diagonostic --query modem--if u succed than ur modem is ok!.
2. else u try www.driverguide.com for it driver.type the model with the word modem & search Ok!
I think ur problem is solved with 1st option.

So have a friend go to the manufacturer's web site and down the driver for you.
Burn the install to CD.
Take it back home.
Install driver.
Invite friend who helped you.
Throw party to celebrate.
