That depends on the dance. Dirty Dancing is definitely something not approved of. Any dance that is openly, blatantly sensual and encourages lust is something that feeds the flesh's sinful desires.
As for celebratory type dances (non sexual) - The Jews have done this for some thousands of years.., King David dance before the Lord.. so dancing in itself is not wrong - its the kind of dancing.

Hi,
well, this is my opinion, from my brain, which God invented,
We were given free will, we were also given our own brain, thank goodness,
God, the source, the energy, the creator ,the ALMIGHTY,
did not give us a brain to share, and arms and legs to share,
WE EACH HAVE OUR OWN MIND, BODY, LIMBS, ETC,
and i believe it is for us to use,
Now, (my reasoning, is) if we cut off our own arms or legs, that is a waste of a beautiful gift, and i think GOD WOULD MIND, THAT,,
IF WE USE our limbs to work, survive, care for ourselves, that seems to me that this is what God intended us to do with our bodies,
IF we dance, run play , jump, wiggle, i do not think GOD MINDS THIS,
'NOW, DOESN'T THAT MAKE SENSE,?
I DO THINK IF WE DANCE, AND DO ACTS OF PERVESION , OR CRUELTY, OR VIOLENCE WHILE DANCING, I DO THINK GOD WOULD OBJECT,
however, everyday, living laughing, loving, fun, play, recreation, including dancing, i think is celebrating what our creator has made available, and is no way offensive to our lord,, so THERE IT IS,,
dance, and worship him, and life, and give thanks for all lthings, and do good, and this is good.

Not at all, God says "And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment. "
(Mark 12:30)
There is a time for everything under the heavens:
A time to weep and a time to laugh; A time to mourn and a time to dance. "(Ecclesiastes 3:4)
