Talk to your doctor about it, there are many options out there nowdays, like the IUD, or the "shot" that they give you. Or even birth control pills. best of all, try all natural family planning.

There are various ways to avoid having a baby. I assume the sex is good so you do not want to give that up. Condoms break sometimes which is not a good thing. Birth control pills, the patch, shots, and other doctor recommended devices also work most of the time. I strongly suggest getting rid of the comdoms after a doctor has seen you and recommended what you should take. Life will be more enjoyable for you and your husband.

First of all Congratulations. The only thing I can recommend are birth control pills or condoms with the sponge or diaphram. But you know if The Lord wants you to have a baby it will be when he knows is the perfect time.

You could get a prescription for the birth control pill. That, in combination with a condom, should keep you fairly safe from getting pregnant unexpectedly. If you do decide to get the pill, please make sure you ask your doctor how taking the pill for 3 years will affect your ability to get pregnant once you're ready. I've heard that long term BC pill use can make getting pregnant more difficult for a period after you stop using it. Your best bet is probably to go talk to your OB/GYN. Good luck and CONGRATS! :)

A big congratulations to you and you are welcome to "the married fold". All what it requires is discipline on both side i.e. you and your spouse. Go for the birth control pill that suits your body system that would not have any negative effect when you want to be bearing children, you can use calendar method, or abstainance occassionally.

there is the birth control pill, the nuva ring, the Evra patch, spermicides, female condoms, implants,
there is also the IUD, which isn't encouraged in women who havn't had kids... but is still and option.
and there is also Depo Provera which is a shot, but i jsut came off it, and my doctor strongy discourages it, as it leads to early osteoporosis.. all the doctors in my area are taking patients off it. but again. still an option.
and i guess thats about it really.
g/l, and BTW.. congratulations on the wedding!

get the coil or the implant they last for a number of years or make an appointment with the nurse at your doctors and they will be able to tell you all of your options!!! your doctors or local family planning clinic should have leaflets that you can just go along and pick up
