"It is better to have loft and lost than to never have loft at all." — Groucho Marx
Everyone does it at one time or another but why? We're talking about falling in love. Professor Arthur Aron from State University of New York at Stonybrook, has been exploring the dynamics of what exactly happens when two people are falling in love:
Q: What motivates people to seek out love?
A: Our primary motivation as human beings is to expand the self and to increase our abilities and our effectiveness. One of the ways we accomplish this is through our relationships with other people. We have learned in our research that it is important to feel that you have the ability to be an effective person, especially in our relationships.

It's not your heart that needs controlling. It's your hormones and feelings that they generate. I recommend that you listen to your feelings until you know what it is they're trying to tell you, then engage your brain and ask "is this person a good match for me?" Then make a decision to either allow yourself to "love" this person, or not.

I think it's "Why do fools fall in love?" And you can't control your heart, unless you don't have one. Your mind....that's a different story.

Who said that love exists? Humans make up a lot of things because one thing we are- no matter how much we like to think we are superior- kinda weak once you consider it all... it's all a matter of hormones and chemicals in the brain and body. Call me cynical, but that's my personal opinion.
And love doesn't make the world go 'round. Gravity and orbiting does.

No one falls in love. It doesn't exist. Weak people, like me, make it all up because they can't face a reality where nobody cares exclusively about them.

i dont know...
but i believe the reason people fall in love is because they're lonely and looking for a companion who will be there for them for the rest of their lives
