Yeah, that African money thing has been around for a long time now. Don't respond to it, even to yell at them. It is then when they know they have a valid email address and you will get TONS of mail from all of them. Slightly different spin, but the same objective. They need your information so they can share 30% of the fortune with you. Ha.

Now, the Russian woman marriage thing...I've never heard of that one.

Yes. Lots of times.
It's one of the oldest scams in the book and has been given greater force with the advent of the Internet. There is nearly always a payment to be made to arrange the transfer of the money or an attempt to get your bank details.
Please don't be taken in; just press that delete button.

Yes. It has happens in yahoo a lot. I am not sure how they get my email address, but I get long emails asking for help with changing money over and such. I had to get the Secret Service involved at one point, as some fool scam artist actually sent me a check for a large sum of money! They found out they were in Nigeria, and were not able to track them past that.

Yes, many times from different relatives and persons, Once I accepted the mail and they were asking me a good amount as processing fee.
I asked them to deduct from the total, they denied, and I guess they are trying to fool people and are playing with human sentiments this way.

It's a Nigerian scam. Do not send these people any personal information. I have a friend whose life was threatened. The FBI is working on her case as we speak.
