I was already a born again Christian when I saw this movie. I found it to be a profound statement. Both of man's inhumanity to man and Just how deeply we are loved by GOD that he would send such a priceless gift. You never have to ask how much Jesus loves you if you've seen it. You would have seen how wide he opened his arms for you and said this much. I cried like a baby along with my husband. As a mother I cannot fathom how Mary dealt with the immense pain she had to watch her baby boy go through. Very sobering.

People who thought The Passion of the Christ was a moving movie should do the devotion called The Stations of the Cross. It is a popular Catholic devotion, especially during Lent.

You can find a good online Stations of the Cross at http://www.creighton.edu/CollaborativeMinistry/stations.html

When I saw it, I was already a Christian, but it did bring a new perspective of Jesus Christ to me. I think the original language thing really had an impact....I'm not sure why.

Being raised a protestant, I almost got the impression that it was not a good idea to even say the name of Jesus' mother out loud for fear that someone would think you were worshiping her.

That movie made me able to identify with God's pain about Jesus through identification with his mother. I thank God for Mary, mother of Jesus now. What a wonderful gift she was to the world. Her faith in God was tremendous. She is a shining example of how a Christian woman should be.

Just like every great lover of God in the Bible, she should be honored and respected for her faith.

in case you will, enable a independent attitude from my humble opinion. Is the NT Anti-Semitic? genuinely particular, how can that be questioned. in simple terms study some pages. yet understand at that element some 2000 years in the past, Judaism became maximum folk and that they have got been persecuting the followers of Jesus (probably precise labeled a cult) for breaking Jewish traditions. speedy forward to in the present day, and with Christianity having the potential, Christians use the NT as justification to persecute the Jews. As for Jews who have faith in Jesus, nicely, it is in simple terms ridiculous. Even i understand that may not following the Jewish faith and that they are misrepresenting Judaism. i could be relatively indignant to boot if I have been Jewish.
