it's a doctor story. A doctor told me once: there are two things that are certain in this life: (1) you're going to die, and (2) you're going to have sex with a nurse.
Now you may wish to punch his lights out for such absurd cockiness and sexism, and I would understand that, but as far as I have been able to discover, he is at least half right.

Its a combination of two things...
1. The Uniform. grrr. Sorry can't help it...its just one of those things that modern man cannot resist. Its definitely psychologically linked with school uniforms and a boys first sexual experiences...but it could also be something to do with the traditional sea-side "carry on" image of a thin figure hugging dress. Its definitely a western society thing.
2. Submission. Its in every man's genetic make-up to want to be pampered and cared for by an attractive woman. I'm sure Freud would take this back to a mother-son relationship, but personally I think its just the fact that every bloke loves the idea of a woman taking control and looking after them. Its sexy.
So yeah, if you're attractive already and tell a guy that you are a nurse, you're onto a winner :)

Nurses make us feel better........ plus the uniform the fact that you'd possibly be able to help if we got our heads jammed somewhere or fell over and that lovely bedside manner. can I ask you a q? I had to spend some time in hospital last year after a bike accident, I was polite and no hassle (pumped with morphine) I know nurses are over worked but some of them really were nasty peices of work and let the others down that were absolut angels and done 99% of what had to be done. do you find you have a lot of moaning minnies join up to be nurses?

I think its the uniform scenario,i am a nurse working in a private hospital and i can assure you mine is awful....ha ha if i were to role play as a nurse i would have to visit Ann Summers first.....seriously now though i think its the having the ability to make people well and as its a caring profession maybe they think we are easier to get along with ..keep up the good work honey xx

something about a sweet nurse in a uniform epitomizes wholesomeness....caring about us guys....I was 20 and badly banged up in car accident and in a hospital for 3 weeks and that was the high-point of my day, more than when my family came to see me,seeing one particular nurse come and look after me...I had 4 broken ribs, puntured lung and kidney, fractured hip and fractured skull...and a catheter to boot for 2 of the 3 weeks..she had to take care of all of me, and I was a pretty sick puppy til the 3 rd week...she would pull the curtains and spend a long time washing me down...she was about 22...hmmmmm brings back memories....anyways...
Also, the word itself, nurse, is sexy as it means the same as breastfeeding. Teachers dont breastfeed, but maybe nurses will!

i don't know why people are saying that it's becuase the uniform. I'm a nurse and what i wear to work (scrubs) doesnt look like it would turn anyone on. Remember!! nurses in america don't wear the little white dresses and hats anymore!!!

Nurses make alot of money and take care of men and some even break the law and get pharmaceuticals to give to their men.

Based upon most of the old films, nursese were always depicted at some stage showing off their sexy stocking tops in the course of their duties. Since then it seems that everyone associates nurses with that attire, especially since their nylons are normally black or barely black ...ask your mum about Shirley Eaton, the actress

I am a nurse, too and get the same response. I think they think we are going to take care of them if they get sick. For me, before I date......I always take a health history! The medical profession is just a status profession. I have gotten out of a lot of traffic tickets too from being a nurse. Cops like nurses and I always show them my license! That is why my personal license plate has my name abbreviated with RN after it!

Men R so predictable!
Think they'll get 2 B waiting on hand & foot with a Nurse.
A caring professional, that will cure/heal all their ills.
:)
Could try telling them UR a Professional Carer & don't ellaborate until U've sussed whether they're going 2 B an Adult rather than a lil boy!
