I just turned 21 and would like to know what drinks I should order when I go to the bar. The reason I ask is because the night of my b day I made a fool of myself at a restaurant. I didn't know what "top shelf" meant! I don't want to have to go through that again! I like drinks like flavored smirnoff, sparks, and marqaritas. So anything I need to know or any tips you can give me??

If you like frozen margaritas you´ll probably like strawberry daiquiris and piña coladas. If you like creamy drinks, order a mudslide, which has rum, vodka, Bailey´s, ice cream and chocolate syrup in it. If you´re in the mood for something fruity, ask for a sex on the beach, which is peach-flavored, or a vodka and cranberry.

Hangovers are so not worth drinking too much. Margaritas are a personal favorite - if budget allows Jose Cuervo Tequila does give a better taste to drink. If you make them at home try adding fresh extra lime juice, a little bit of sugar, blend, put the whole glass part of blender in freezer overnight, next evening remove glass part blend again & it will taste like a Margarita Slushee. DON'T mix your drinks (if you drink beer stick with beer all night, if you drink wine drink wine all night, if it's mixers stick with the same main alcohol ingredient don't drink vodka then gin then rum - puke city will be visited)! DON'T drink too many sugary/sweet drinks (the sugar gives you wicked headaches), DON'T drink & drive NOT COOL!

learn what is not top shelf because the name brands cost more money. instead of saying 7 and 7 with a twist which is segram 7 and seven-up with lime you could say burbon and seven with a twist and save 2.50 with the same kick. a house brand is always cheaper but they will try to sell you the name brand because they make more money on it. it is just like drugs with a name or the off brand they both do the same thing with the same ingredients but one costs more because of the advertising

You want to order an "Irish Car Bomb"
It's a shot of Jameson Irish Whiskey and Bailey's Irish Cream and an 8oz. glass of Guiness. Drop the shot into the glass of beer and consume quickly. Kinda like a JagerBomb. YUMMY!!!

Ask what the special is.
Ask what THEY recommend OR what sounds good to them!
