Someone local that has a good reputation.

Hints on driving:
1/ Stick to the speed limit, don't go faster than you feel comfortable with at first but aim to meet the limit where appropriate.

2/ Always keep an eye on old people and kids at the side of the road.

3/ Learn your highway code book inside and out, take it to bed with you.

4/ Develop an unhealthy interest in road signs and their meanings!

5/ Learn smooth clutch control and gear changing - take it steady and feel the gears through the stick, it'll impress the test guy.

6/ Learn to palm the gear stick in the direction of the desired gear, it should just slot in.

I plan on going with AAA for my teenager. More hours behind the wheel plus they do night driving. Think it runs about $500.

Ask one of your friends, I am sure they would teach you for free as long as you don't crash their car.
