pass your business card out everywhere you go...offer a free sample to skeptics...never have a client leave unhappy or sore...hear them out if they have a complaint and explain to them that even the day after physical therapy can be painful, but the day after that is always better...

Trying using ads and give out deals to ppl that say they saw ur ad in a paper or whereever u decide to put it. Or give massages to ur friends for free (try the friends that work in really hard environments) and tell them to tell a friend about their experience with you. Word of mouth is always best, and free! So try some of both. And good luck!
(was looking into being a massage therapist, but like you... it was going to be hard to find clients)

Be sure to advertise. If you do foot massages, make mention of that (who doesn't have aching feet these days?!). And don't over-charge.

To attract female clients, you must learn to talk because woman love to talk. It is a way for them to relieve stress. For man, i think you can learn chinese kung fu. They will be impress.
