Jesus once touched a blossoming fig tree told it to dry up and it dried up. When asked how he did it by his astonished disciples he said,"Faith, it is all because of faith, if you have true faith you can even lift up a mountain and put it into the sea". I really believe in the bible and think it is very practical. But how practical is this. I mean obviously I dont wanna pick up mountains and throw them to the sea, but can it work miracles?

Exactly what do you mean by "miracle"? A supernatural event that can only be accomplished by the intervention of God into human affairs? People have different opinions about the plausability of this. But if by "miracle" you mean amazing things that would be thought improbable, then it is a proven fact that faith can bring about "miracles".
For proof of this you have to look no further than the placebo effect. Give someone a "medicine", even a fake one like a sugar pill, and they will tend to heal faster from an illness or injury so long as they have faith that this "medicine" is real. In clinical trials of new medicines that involve the new medicine, a placebo, and an untreated group there is often, if not always, a difference between the healing rates of the untreated and the placebo group. The placebo group heals faster, sometimes even faster than the group treated with the new medicine.

Yes, alot of things can happen if you just have faith and I'm not talking about winning the lottery. I know a preacher that had MS and prayed about it and had enough faith that God would take care of him and God did because he doesn't have MS anymore.

it is all in positive thinking. u know what - energy is right . +plus energy is . well that's all it is. u have to be able to manipulate said energies. w/ur mind. or some other device. that is what a miracle is.
