Its my 31st Birthday on tomorrow (02/09) and I have no-one to celebrate it with. I'm living in London and all my close family and friends are back home in Sydney. Therefore I've decided not to celebrate it, no going out for dinner or drinks. I wouldn't have anyone to go with anyway. I do have friends in London but they are all busy. Am I loser or sad case???

Thankyou all for you kind words and ideas. I guess birthdays are overrated and you don't have to celebrate it every year. Cheers!

Well happy birthday for tomorrow. Dont feel sad, other people do it so why cant you make a day of it. Stay off work, go view some sights and then on the night time you could do the following:
- book a table for 2
- when you arrive ask if a man is waiting for you, then get shown to your table
- wait a while then pretend to be stood up
- order your meal and then the guy at the bar might buy you a drink because of your situation.
- get to know the guy and get him to buy you more drinks
- take him home and enjoy your birthday.
If all else fails you could have a quiet night in, bubble bath, your fav DVD/Video and enjoy a quiet night in with the biggest tub of icecream/box of your fav chocs.
If not any of the above, book a flight to Auz and enjoy a later bday over there

Get on the phone and celebrate with your friends in Sidney that way. When your friends in London are free set up a time to go out for your birthday then. You never know what the future holds so you should celebrate life everyday. Happy Birthday!!!

Well Happy 31st Birthday for tomorrow, I would have a 'treat myself day' I would go shopping, have a nice dinner, then go home and chill out and have a big bubbly bath with candles, music and no interuptions. That would be my perfect chill out Birthday.........Maybe you could celebrate your Birthday some other time when your friends arent busy and get bladdered. Hope you have a TOP day.....x x x x

This year on my actual birthday, all my friends were busy, and my boyfriend was doing evening shifts. So I just went to a bar where a friend of mine worked and had a blast!
Don't be afraid of going out on your own. And if you meet up with your friends on the night, so much the better. Or postpone your birthday, and arrange another date when all your friends are free, and have the fun then. You'll have something to look forward to. That's what I had to do.
Happy birthday for tomorrow! :)

You're neither. It's just the way it is this year. Don't worry about it. Buy yourself a bottle of wine and cook yourself a nice dinner.
Hmm, if you have that first sip at 7p.m. there in London I'll have a sip at 1p.m. ('cause I'm six hours behind you) and wish you "happy birthday." Who knows? Maybe the rest of us just might join in from our respective time zones, right everyone?
This could be a really cool birthday for you after all!

Happy Happy Birthday for tomorrow.
Do something for YOURSELF. Wake up and pamper youself in a warm lingering bath with lots of bubbles . Give you body what it wants.
Get dressed and go into London and look around the shops and buy something for yourself.
Have a meal in a restaurant which you like with a couple of glasses of wine
Go for a walk around one of London's fantastic parks and feed the ducks
Have a high tea in a park tea shop
Go home for an evening of leisure and enjoy your own company.
Have a very happy personal birthday!!!

Billy happy birthday for tomorrow...here's what to do wander down to one of the homeless shelters in London and spend the day there.
You will come home celebrating your birthday in a completely different way.

probably u just don't have friends. otherwise they wouldn't be busy for your birthday. don't stamp u with loser word. maybe u just haven't found compatible people yet. just be nice and polite and learn how to listen. im sure u will get friends sooner or later. maybe u should try and find that bf by now - 31 is old enough. and maybe get a baby - your time is ticking now. so i wouldn't get upset if i were u that i don't have friends. concentrate on more important things
and happy birthday of course, i wish u to celebrate it next year with friends and a new bf and maybe being pregnant
