yes war bird museum, and nasa are great.
If you go to universal get the fast track pass, means you goto the front of the queue, and by the end of the day you would have done everything and get to go on the best rides again...fab.

sea breeze restaurant on int drive, very nice...

driving in USA is crap, so just keep an eye on the lane changing without the cruise control coming off.

flying is fine, hand luggage minimum no liquids, ba have seat back tvs etc.

Check for shuttle launch / landing on the nasa website..

have a good one

Best to check with the airline you're travelling with as they all seem to have different advice.
Attractions -
Universal is a must. It's good for kids and adults without the sugar coating of Disney.
Wonderworks on International Drive is really good. It's a museum of such but with interactive attractions like a room which re-creates what it would feel like if you were in a hurricane wind force, and a exhibit which confuses your brain so you can't throw a ball into net. It's really worth a look.
Although it's part of Disney make sure you do one of their waterparks (Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon).
Sometimes they close one of the two at low season but if you can choose go for Typhoon Lagoon as it's the better one of the two.
There's a real beach, a massive beach themed pool (it looks like the sea moated in) which periodically creates a huge tidal wave which the kids and adults love. Kids scream and stupid men try to ride the wave.
It seems better than Wet and Wild water park although I've only seen that from the outside.
Winter Park village on the outskirts of downtown Orlando is gorgeous.
It's a little quaint village which has a Boston/Cape Cod type feel to it.
There's lots of boutique style shops which sell designer clothes to pet clothing. Go on the narrated boat tour which operates daily (once and hour I think). It's take you around the hughe lake and points out all the massive houses that the likes of Shaquille O'Neill lives. It's really lovely.
Clearwater beach and Coco Beach are lovely and only 45 minutes away either side. Try not to go on the weekend as it's really busy for traffic.

As well as the other attractions mentioned try to fit in an Air Boat ride, it's about the only place you can take one.
