There wad this drunk guy who forgot abt his credit card after my colleague handed it to him few seconds ago, and he became furious and verbally abusive and didn't even wanna open up his wallet after i confirmed with my colleague that he had received his card. Raised his voice and eveything. But after he realised his mistake he apologised, but was drunk so did not seem too apologetic either. However, Japanese customers are the most polite bunch of ppl. Internationally known. Even after they blasted the pearl harbor.

I was working in a beauty supply store and two women came in with very large purses. A colleague was arranging some products and just happened to end up aisle to aisle with them, One of the women got mad and accused my colleague of watching them to see if they were stealing, my colleague was a quiet shy person, not one that would defend herself, so I interjected saying that she was just arranging products and to let her do her job, leave her alone. Well the woman became infuriated, I was behind a long counter at the register. On the counter were many display products, nail polishes lipsticks, even candy. This crazy woman proceeded to come up to the counter I stepped back and she swiped EVERYTHING off of the counter, she was a large woman and I mean she knocked everything off.Things went flying everywhere , her and her friend left the store and we had to redo a lot of displays.
Absoulute rudeness and ignorance. I find no reason for customers to get upset when they "think" they are being watched or even if they are being watched, they should understand that yes people steal all the time and if you have nothing to steal then why would you care?
If i am in a store and have someone watching me and I feel uncomfortable I acknowledge that the are watching me by saying stuff to them, like if I pick up a shirt I'll say oh I love this color and make eye contact with them I do that about twice and they realize I am okay and leave me alone. You accomplish a lot more with being friendly than flat out ugly!!!!!!!!!!

I've had many bad customer experiences. The one that sticks out in my memory though is the first bad one I had.
It was my second day at a new job. I was working an evening shift when a drunk woman came in and bought some things, including a hot dog. She was rude and didn't pay attention to anything and was mumbling some bullshit and responded grumpily to everything. Then I needed her to sign the receipt after she paid with her credit card, but she looked like she was going to leave without signing, so I reminded her that she'd have to sign it and she yelled "I KNOW! I'VE HAD A CREDIT CARD FOR 20 YEARS, I KNOW HOW IT GOES!" She put her hot dog on the table while she took something out of her bag and then signed. Then she suddenly noticed that the half-eaten hot dog was on the table and she flipped and started yelling at me, blaming me for putting her hot dog on the table and mumbling about all the bacterias etc. and calling me names. I told her she had put it there herself, that she could clearly see that she had already been eating it, but she kept yelling and demanded a new hot dog, so somebody started making her a new one, but in the middle of that she yelled "NO! I WILL NOT ACCEPT THIS TREATMENT, I'M LEAVING!" She walked out. Two minutes later she came back in, yelling over the whole shop "NO! I DEMAND I GET MY HOT DOG! I PAID FOR IT!", followed with some more bullshit and name calling. Another customer told her she was behaving ridiculous and being rude and she yelled "WHY ARE YOU GOING TO BEAT ME? I SHOULD HAVE YOU ARRESTED FOR ASSAULT!" (the man hadn't touched her).
She got another hot dog and left, but I was quite shocked, it was not a good thing to experience on my second day of working in retail. It was such a ridiculous incident. Not the worst I've had, but the one that shocked me the most. After this I knew I could expect ANYTHING from customers.
I guess the most serious incident though was when some guys came in at night and started threatening to beat up some customers. When we asked them to leave they wanted a refund for the food they had already consumed in there and when we refused to refund it they threatened to go smash our cars or follow us when we'd go home and they almost beat up some man who was in there, but fortunately security guards from a nearby company were there buying some coffee, so they could keep them from doing harm until the police arrived.

This one woman and her friend come DIRECTLY to mind when I saw this question.
I was working as a checkout attendant at a store kind of like walmart. Well, it was almost closing time and they did the '15 minutes until closing' announcement while I was checking this woman out. She looks at her friend and said, "I hate when they do that, it just pisses me off. Now I'm going to stay in the store for another 30 minutes just to make them mad." She said that right in front of me! I couldn't believe it. I looked at her and said, "Look lady, I have a life too, I've been here for 9 hours and I want to go home and see my family. I'm not a robot that just shuts down when the lights go off. I'm a person too and would like to GO HOME!" She just looked at me and rolled her eyes. I could definitely tell she had never worked in retail before.

my worst experience was while I was working for Kings Supermarket. I worked as a casher I had a women who cursed me out and told me that her million dollar diamond ring could take out my eye. She also told me that I was far below her. What finally shut her up was finding out that I had attended Boston University , had a double degree in theater arts and english , was marring a man who attended Yale University and was currently (he was not I) in a Broadway musical (not the lead but getting there).

I work in a hospital deliving meals to patients, but it is a very small hospital so we mostly have old people in. Anyway this really old man, was a really horny old man. Every time I went near him he would ask did I want to sit on his d**k and do you want to go for a ride on him. I was young and attractive. I was not even close to like a really really old horny man. It came to the point where other people had to give him the meals.
