oh c'mon! i'm not a muslim but i sure have lots of muslim friends! they're not that bad as most people think of! look! let's not judge them in general ok! they're really cool in fact, once you get to know them!

I think this question calls for generalisation of people which is unfair. Whoever says 'I hate Muslims and Islam' bases the beliefs of multitudes on the disgraceful actions of a few. I personally do not hate them. They are people. We are equal with them.
Christians do not hate Muslims. I know many from my own life who are good friends with them. To say that the Church prosecutes Muslims is like saying Americans are bad because this so-and-so person made war with Iraq and other countries.
Neither does the Church go blameless. There have been figures in Christianity who have made mistakes and said the wrong things. There were the crusades in the past as well.
Therefore, be not quick to judge others on the small circle of the world you see or what the media portrays. Instead, look beyond what your prejudice blinds you and you will see, we are all the same inside, desiring acceptance and life.
Edit>> If Islam were seriously to be embedded in those so-called laws of killing and unrighteous behavoirs, it would have never become such a widespread religion. Religion exists, because people have a desire to do good or at least find self-worth. That is like saying Christianity is based on killing because people in the old testament were ordered to slay those who had taken idols into their house.
I don't know what media you guys have chosen to believe, but if you have had no contact with a REAL muslim or islam, what right have you to judge them as a whole? Those muslim who do wrong in the name of their religion are on world-wide media JUST BECAUSE what they do is not what normal muslims do.

Any community which has been harmed by Muslims hate Muslims and this dates back to centuries. The Sword Of Islam was very much real.The persecutions of civilizations by invading Muslims were so destructive that it totally annihilated civilizations like Egypt,Mesopotamia,Persia and tried to destroy the Indus civilization. this conflict can still be seen in India Pakistan conflict.Not to forget Arab Israel conflict.

Because it contains the laws to support to kill other people, foolish other people, dominate other people, violate other people. I hate muslims because of their poor understanding about social changes, social movement etc. They are embeded in few laws which are harm to other people (Harmi? Karimi?).

Because:
They believe killing innocent people should be their number one hobby.
Beheading helpless people is honorable.
Mistreating women and children is the right thing to do.
And, finally, they kill everyone for religious reasons that go AGAINST their own so-called beliefs....

i dont hate any religion.....atall. but i sure despise people who use and interpret religion to their own advantage and hide behind it for personal and political gain.... and that is true for not just islam but all religions
