I was refering to the album "Aqualung" as a whole. Not the cover song.

no he is an idealist a musician...agualung is a very good album havent listen to it for years and i miss it thanks for reminding me.,..you got a good taste. He is just an artist and artists tend to see things how they really are.,..i am a musician as well and in a way i have similar way of looking at life....he is basicly saying that god is inside you i guess..

After how ever many years this album was made don't you think that it would be wrong to presume anything about Ian's spirituality.
I was a heathen when that album came out and am not now.

Beats me.....but I do like his music. I must say though, that if I hear the song Aqualung on one more classic rock station I'm going to puke. I liked it the first 50 times I heard it, but enough is enough.

I thought that song was about a child molester. It's a good song, though, and an unforgettable riff. One of the first I learned to play. Props on the Jethro Tull comment. I'm a fan too, even if it was before my time.
