I recently moved to Slough nr London.My children have been called names and spat at everytime they go out for over 2 months now.Just last night one of them with his gang put a dent in my sons cars, punched the window and was shouting abuse.I have called the Police and they have done nothing as yet.The attacks are due to racism.We live in an area where we are the minority.The have shouted racist insults over and over,but the Police say its how teenagers talk these days and do not consider it racism.

does slough have a local news station? if so, go to them. if not, contact a news station in london. if you can get them to broadcast your problem and the police's cavalier attitude, the police will have to do more to help you or look lax to everyone. contact your mayor first, see if he can or will be willing to help you. no one should be told this is just how teens are. teens grow up and continue their pattern if they are not shown that wrong behavior will not be tolerated.

I suggest that you get your self an attorney ( barristor ) have him review your situation and if you can sue the parent ( that is if they have) and may be they will get the message that you mean business. I think if you were here in america you would have file a law suit already or got hold of one of those bullies and show then who was in charge, by the way do you not teach your children to stand up for them selves. They should not throw the first punch, but they are justified in defending then selves. use the law if the bibbies (police ) wont help you

Sounds horrible. I have no idea what you should do, the police is clearly not doing their jobs... File a complaint, and try to get the police talk to the people who abuse you... Word will get around, that the police has visited this and that guy and it was because of this, and maybe they will think twice before they do it again.
