You are on the right path dear, follow your heart and for sure you cannot go wrong. We may believe in different ways and matters but perhaps on the same accord with intutitional insight that God has given all of us.

Intuition is something that has been artificially created from the result of our upbringing and society's perspectives that are normally good for the survival of the human species and civilisation as a whole. We are here because moelecules gradually became living beings.
Philosopher's answer
Our senses depend on personal past experiences that impact and shape our unconscious thinking. We want to believe we were here for purpose so that we have self-confidence and a belonging. We are here because we are, there is no right or wrong. I think therefore I am.
My personal answer
If science says ultimately we came from a world where the big bang happened, and things just became the way they are after a long long long period of time and gravitation, where did everything begin? Just from mathematical equations and anti-gravity? I don't think beliving I'm here because I am is going to satisfy my mind or heart. Therefore, perhaps somewhere out there there is a god who made this world in ways that we cannot explain. Because we don't know how it began and this 'god' knows. So, if I am wrong, even then, if I live my life morally right, I think I will be satisfied with the result in the end. If I don't and just live for the sake of living, and I was wrong, I will not be satisfied with my life, and I will have to face this god that did exist but I thought didn't.

If you don't understand God's word{not what man says God' word is}it is hard at times to be right in what is in the heart.Because if your heart is not pure....meaning it has been contaminated by a lie,evil thoughts can enter the heart and make you operate on what you think to be right but is not.
I have tried to explain this for you without using the bible to get you to understand this,however the word of God has the answers to long life and good days.

God gives you what you need to survive. Why so many question intuition, I have no idea. Instructions are written into your HEART, not some man-made book that was written well passed the death of Jesus.

do you ever not hear the hum of a florescent bulb. Not hear the air conditioning as it is running, but notice when it stops. There are tons of wonderful cues we all get each day but if we stop listening or move them to the background then...But when you learn to focus, you pick up stuff. I like deer hunting..to see not to shoot..as I focus on the noises, I find them all they time. God is the same way, when you take time to focus on Him you see him, you understand him. When you read the Bible and pray each day you can find more of Him in every day.

how do you know that your intuition is righteous in the sight of the God and it is not seared with a hot iron by satan.
only Jesus who had descended from above is righteous like God the father.
we cannot be righteous in the sight of the God unless we follow his Guidelines, the Bible- God's perfect thoughts.
our intuition can be many times wrong.
as far as heart is concerned, heart are your emotions.
