Do you remember what you did to make the change occur? If so, make a new question with that information.

It could be that you went into safe mode for a reason. Or maybe you changed config.sys. In these cases you will get a message box coming as Windows starts and on it is a box you can tick so as the message does not appear again; this will also go back to normal boot up.

If what you did was to add software, then using System Restore -> Start, Help, System Restore <- will get you back to a date before you added the software and remedy any damage. Of course, you could try Remove Software first.

If you can't remember, or it 'just happened', then maybe you got a boot virus, so run anti-virus.

If none of this works or is unlikely, then it's worth using a tool that will repair your FAT boot sector. Windows might do it using Scandisk -> My Computer, right click on Drive, tools, Scandisk <- but you might need something like PC Onpoint, which is worth having anyway to repair DLLs etc, the link is below. Oh, or perhaps the 'Hard Disk Mechanic' - link is also below.

Good luck, anyway.

Right click on the My computer icon on desktop, open the propertiestab-->Advanced(last tab)--> Startup and Recovery--> Remove the 'Tick' Mark from the "Display List Of operating Systems"
Apply --> Ok

This should solve the problem. This will take u directly to the default operatind system specified just above the "Display List Of operating Systems" tab.
