They are both, indeed, correct. What you would want to avoid, though, is the first one, for two reasons: In addition to being cumbersome, it sounds way too much like "I just seen" which is bound to classify you as a poorly educated American, and is probably the reason someone corrected you on this in the first place.

They are both correct. Here is the difference, as I see it:
Let's say we are standing on a street corner, each facing the other, different line of sight though. That is when you would use "I've just seen" As in, "I've just seen the weirdest looking baby go by in a stroller." LOL!!!

"I just saw" indicates something in the very recent past, but without the person being addressed knowing about it until informed by the speaker.
"I just saw the greatest movie yesterday, you should see it, too."

I hope that is somewhat helpful!

Both are correct, and there's very little difference in most contexts.

"I've just seen" (I have just seen) is the present perfect--with "just", the present perfect is used for events that occured so recently in the past that they seem to have occured in the present.

"I just saw" is the simple past. Since it's past, it's obviously over, but the "just" emphasizes, again, how recently it occured.

Of course, in a sentence like "I just saw him for a second, I don't know what he was wearing", it would have to be "saw" and in a sentence like "I've just seen the end of the movie; I really want to see the whole thing", have seen is much better.

The first is grammatically better, because "just" is more often used with the present perfect (has/have +past participle), and the present perfect is used to indicate actions that have ended in the recent past.

The second isn't very sound, grammatically speaking. But I think it's not wrong in informal contexts.
