It's very important that you read up about Islam before you convert, because if you do want to give it up after you become a true Muslim, then you will go to hell. So if you are sure about it, and how you need to act as a Muslim (ie, the five pillars of Islam) find yourself a sheikh. It's best you find one who you believe is moderate (yet not completely liberal and certainly not close-minded or radical etc.) The Sheikh will then be with you through the two steps that will make you a Muslim. You have to put your right index finger up in the air to represent a "one" and proclaim that you believe in one God, Allah and that the Prophet Mohammed is his one true prophet.
Then you will become a Muslim.

When you decide consciously to embrace Islam as your religion and declare it openly - usually before an Islamic clerics by pronouncing the syahadat which translates as your acceptance that Allah is your God and Muhammad is His messenger.
After that you just learn, try and practice the 5-time prayer, Ramadhan fasting, and the rest, one step at a time.

One would imagine that you should remove half your brain. Why would one even contemplate such an action? Is your life so devoid of direction that you need to consider this extreme religion? Become a Buddhist, read up on what they hold dear. Free yourself from the destructiveness that is islam. To have a direction, purpose, and sense in your life is a great thing. islam will not provide this.Just look at the quality of person that practices this poison and you will understand.islam is the cancer of society.

im not a practicing muslim actually am a secular boy!but if i believe in god it would prefer islam abslotely u know why cuz it says god is one not even one and half or 2 if u know what am saying mate? islam not named after a person or time or a place.go this web site i've been on it its nice to hear bout it .www.islamalways.com.oh i forgot to say this if a person be muslim he must do shahada

In order to convert to Islam you'll have to accept Allah as the one and only God and that Prophet Muhammad(PBUH) is His last messenger.
You must also familiarise yourself with the 5 pillars of Islam.
You also need to get circumcised, if you aren't already.
Contact any goddamn Muslim you happen to know personally and he'll take care of everything!

A Muslim is one who submits his free will to God. To revert to ISLAM, you utter these words with your heart, mind and soul:
"La Ilaha illallah, Muhammed Rasool Ullah"
"There is no God except Allah and Muhammed is His messenger"
This is enough to make you a Muslim.
Further:
If you agree to this, you must pray five times a day at appointed times.
If you agree to this, you must fast for 30 days in the month of Ramadan
If you agree to this, you must pay 2.5% of your annual saving to the poor in charity once a year
If you agree to this, you must try and make the pilgrimage to Makkah, atleast once in your lifetime, if you can afford it.

what u do is go to a mosque or ask a muslim tro take u there ,u say the Shahadah and u eventually go to paradise!!!
