ok so we have a serious relationship (or so i thought), we live together, we're engaged, etc. and then all the sudden out of the blue he wants to break up says i ruined his college life, im a *****, ive changed, the last three months were hell and so on. and then he goes and tells his mother about it to top it off!! and now he doesnt care if i go out to bars or who i hang out with. wht happened? i thought to change is to grow.....please some insight as to what the **&%!!

Something similiar happened to me and my ex fiancee.... we were one month away from the wedding and he started acting strange and said he wasn't sure he was making the right decision. Next thing I know he's back with his ex and I'm out on my booty... it's taken me a long time to realize, but he did me a favor. I know it sounds corny, but if it's meant to be, it'll work out. If not then he probably saved you from more pain later on (even though I know it's impossible to think that's true at this point). I finally learned that the "why" doesn't matter, just the "how"... that is how I was going to live my life, pining for him to come back to me or living my life for me. It could be that he just got cold feet, or maybe he realized that you've grown apart and he couldn't ignore it any longer without making a huge mistake... either way the only t hing that matters if how you react to it. And from the sounds of it, you can do better than him!

I am sure you are fairly young,and from what i remember sometimes we get ourselves into things that seems like how it should be but then later it just eats at you,you tell yourself it will be ok and let me assure you it will be,even if the ultimate end result is without him,I am sorry but reasonably speaking this most likely will happen again,and i seriously doubt it is you. Don't let this get you down or feel like you can not trust this is what will build your own person and someday the right other person will come along and you'll look back at this and laugh.It's ok to be hurt,just don't let it get in the way of making decisions forever,Learn from this and learn to forget,You can be miserable about it but sometime soon you need to let go or you'll find that your whole life will be spent trying to hate someone,and for what?? Do you think that person will ever know or care 1 years from now?? Don't through your own life away go find someone new and be HAPPY!!!!!

wow, thats a little special. First thing is to realize if you did anything to provoke this. Put your feelings aside, do you attogonize him? did you party a lot and not call? did you spend too much money? anything? Second, did he do any of those things? Did he cheat on you?
Is he a smart and crafty guy? I'm a smart guy and if I ****** up big time like cheated and might get caught I may do some crazy things to get out of it.
Also your engaged, did you pressure him into it? Whos idea was it really? How long have you been engaged?
Also what does screwing up his college life mean? Do you have a child together or something?

Don't know him s I can't say, may be lots of things. If you can't get the answers from him you will just have to chalk it up to life and move on.
