I went 3 days ago. They took a large tooth out from the top row. My dentist is a man. He was very good at putting me at ease, but they took nearly half an hour to get this blasted tooth out because they said the root was curved outwards.
When I got home and had a proper look in the mirror, I nearly died. They have destroyed my gums getting that thing out. Good job that part of my mouth is not seen when I smile.
I am still suffering lots of tenderness and throbbing and have to take painkillers all the time, but the good thing is that I can eat ice cream and drink freezing cold water without wincing in pain.
I will just have to be sure that I rinse my mouth out after every meal with salt water to avoid infection and hopefully it will heal OK.

my dentist is a man, the last time I went to the dentist was 10 month ago. He recommended pulling all my top teeth so I haven't been back.

about 3 yrs ago got wisdom tooth pulled cost me 525.00 and it was a man
