It seems like woman today really want the benefits of being a man but none of the responsibilities. Why?

You first question I've been asking since I singed up for the draft, 34 years ago. Jobs that only men will do kill them 700 time more often than the primary jobs women will do. When the federal government sued Sears for not hiring women for a specific position, they spent millions, only to learn that women would not apply for the job, regardless of the pay. But, all that is going to change, whether we like it or not.

In the last 30 years, the birth rate for male children has dropped by 25%, and is still dropping. It has already created significant problems in recruiting for male dominate Blue Collar fields. In another 10-20 years, we will either have to force men in white collar jobs to leave them and enter the blue collar fields, or begin forcing women, perhaps starting with female prisoners, to do the jobs. In essence, we will be creating a subjugated part of our society, and even if we start by forcing the men into it, eventually, it will still end up being women forcing women to do the jobs. This was discussed at a conference for social historians. Also remember, Blue Collar working males provide the largest contributions to the social security fund. That is part of the reason for the panic now over its solvency.

Men and women think different however nobody dictates jobs.There is nothing like he or she thing...
OMG Come out of it .No woman wants to be like man because she thinks they are equal and no benefits because we are proud we are females and not typically particular about who should be doing which job.Marraige is not just working and managing household chores ,it is also about company and harmony.We have to manage everything on our own if we do not marry .So as per your way of thinking if you do not marry live independent then you will have to perform both the duties of man and woman individually.Your way of thinking has a logic,but isn't this equaaly true

Frankly, I don't know where you got that idea from but all the women I know take on as much responsibility as is required of them - not because they want the benefits of being a man, but because they crave self expression and independence.

Marriage wise, I think women have shed the house wifery mentallity, again not because they want the benefits of being a man, but to allow their self expression and independence

That's not what marriage is about. It's about committment to someone to be with for remainder of life, through good and the bad. Has nothing to do with sexist remarks. What you are claiming makes no sense besides the fact you sound sexist and liek the idea of men superior to women.

You are right. There are many double standarts and even laws that always treat men worse. Today they have more rights then us, and less responsabilities, and it is men fault because we are too protective towards women, but believe me women are not protective towards men, they are very mean to us, they just try to hide that. And I do not see women complaining and wanting equality then!!!
P.S.: They are not equal in the first place, but equality, fine, but to have more rights, ridiculus.

i'm not sure of your question. what kind of responsibilities don't women have? i own my own house and still have to pay my own bills, do all the housework and repairs. if i find someone that i want to be with, i'd still expect it to be 50/50. maybe if they know more about repairs or something than me, then they could do that (and likewise i'd probably be more likely to end up cooking since i'm good at it) but otherwise, i'd expect and want everything to be half/half.

As for marriage, I'm not that kind of girl. I've been with my boyfriend for over six years and I still til this day do not wash his dirty socks, that's a wife's job.
