At what age does a guy start looking at a woman for her brain and not just for her looks? (I don't mean a girl who doesn't bathe or knows nothing) but when does her brain become as important vs a couple of extra pounds.

Dat's kinda tough to answer... it's not really about age as it is about maturity of the relationship.
I think from the early courtship stages, the guy can be quite biased towards looks. But as the relationship matures, the guy is more likely to appreciate his partner for the feelings they share for each other.

When they reach a more mature level.. no one can really give you a answer on what age to be honest because we all mature at different stages.

Well, it totally depends on the guy.
For me myself:
-I only look for a girl's brain...and her looks are not important to ma at all..I guess that's because I tried to understand the real meaning of love in my life and didn't mix it with sex...
I haven't had sex with any girls so far and won't have with anyone but my wife.
My girlfriend is a real smarty and I love her so much...I can't make one single day night without her...

When we see people in the street, we are not attracted to their thought waves.
There has to be an attraction initially.
Ive met women who were gorgeous to look at but were thick as pigpoo in the brain dept.Over time, they got to be a little boring.

When they get ready to settle down that's about the time most guys start to consider what they really NEED in a mate vs. the superficial stuff that can be so easily lost.

Around 30 both sexes start to figure out that the millionaire with the movie star looks that they want isn't showing up so they start taking a more serious look at who is around.

well if you try to analyze it it's not so much on the age, the only time that a guy would look for smart girls would be when they are smart enough you know what i mean! coz some people are so old their still stupid to be just rellying on the looks, im sorry for the words but its true!

well first I have got to ask define a "few extra pounds" as far as when it depends on how fast the guy in question matures the more mature we are the more we see the preson and less the body so it depends

Once he learns his hard lesson that cute girls could be high maintainance, brainless, unfaithfull ,trouble, boring & headache.
Usually a man starts to think with his brain & not his penis, in his mid to late 30s, then he is settled & a husband material.

We never stop looking at her looks, we just appreciate the brain more. I'd say after 25
