imagine a bird that transplants every grain of sand of a planet to a different place in the galaxy one grain at a time. it would take millions of years. by the time it takes to complete the task only a nanosecond of eternity goes by. life is extermly short and eternity is never ending. the best i can understand eternity is a perfect and continuing circle. if that is the case, then we are in for this whole trip for all eternity.i know that that is my best conception of eternity, but it just doesnot come close to the truth. eternity is an infinity of years. or even an infinity to the power of infinity, to the power of infinity. im starting to get a headache just from describing eternity to you.

My! My! People never cease to amaze me with all of their WEIRD concepts about ETERNITY! I note on here that there's SARCASM in people's answers to this MOST serious question! You see, eternity is FOR EVER! That means it is a realm that is NEVER ENDING! There is no measure of time as we know it there! It is so difficult to grasp the thought of an existence that will NEVER cease! Our finite minds cannot comprehend this, and we are so bound up in this "time and space continuum" that we MUST have someone GREATER than ourselves to grasp even a LITTLE of what ETERNITY is about! And the ONLY one qualified to do so is the One who Himself is ETERNAL, "without beginning of days or end of life". And that is ALMIGHTY GOD as revealed in THE BIBLE! It is ONLY THERE that we are presented with an accurate picture of ETERNITY. And since God NEVER lies, yes CANNOT lie, it is imperative that we TAKE HEED to what He has said! Because one day ALL of us will DIE and pass from this TEMPORAL earthly realm into one of two places: HEAVEN OR HELL! Regardless of how much we may deny their existence, nevertheless they are a REALITY! Yes! Even moreso than life on Earth! Because "that which is seen is TEMPORAL, but that which is UNSEEN is ETERNAL!" And which one you end up in will depend on ONE THING ONLY: are you SAVED FROM YOUR SINS BY JESUS CHRIST? HAVE YOU BELIEVED ON HIM AND RECEIVED HIM AS LORD AND SAVIOUR? That is ALL that matters in the light of ETERNITY! For "it is appointed unto man once to die, but after this the judgment." (Hebrews 9:27). And after death, we shall ALL stand before "the Lord of Glory", JESUS CHRIST, to give an account for our every THOUGHT, WORD, AND DEED! "ALL have sinned and come short of the glory of God." (Romans 3:23) "Sin is the transgression of the law" (1 John 3:4), meaning the Ten Commandments. Those who break God's law will have HELL to pay! And God promises to punish wicked guilty sinners who die in their sins FOR EVER AND EVER AND EVER! And that is ANYONE who has never "called upon the name of the Lord" to SAVE THEM FROM THEIR SINS AND THE WRATH TO COME! Therefore, I would not have such a MOCKING ATTITUDE about this! "Fools make a mock at sin." It's time for you to WAKE UP, before it is ETERNALLY TOO LATE! God loves you, whoever you are, and that is why Jesus died on the cross! HE paid YOUR penalty that YOU DESERVE by His own blood! The question is, WILL YOU BELIEVE ON AND RECEIVE HIM? Or will you choose to "go it on your own"? When you die (and that is something you will NOT escape!), will Christ be YOUR BEST FRIEND AND SAVIOUR? Or will he be YOUR WORST ENEMY AND NIGHTMARE? The choice is YOURS!
