he says he is trying to change. do you think he can? he just told a fresh lie yesterday. it was nothing big but its just the fact that he lied. if he knows i hate this then why is he still doing it. by the way he is 43 and im 37

Nope. He's an ex for a reason. If he was a wonderful upstanding guy, he would've been that guy all along. I do believe, however, that yes, people can change, but if they cheated, can they change? Probably not. If he is saying he's not a liar and just lied to you? KICK HIM TO THE CURB and don't look back. Please don't take him back, you know yourself that he's a liar! Do yourself a favour and find someone worthy of YOU. GOOD LUCK!

hi there.......i wish i could give you the right answer for you ,but believe it or not you know youreself whats the best thing to do ,i dont know whats happened in this relationship,but you must have strong feelings for this guy and he probably knows it well,and thats why he is lying to you ,im not making excuses for him but he could be underconfident ?? mind you if hes lying that kind of knocks that theory on the head ,if he has repeatedly lied and made youre life unhappy then to be honest id call it time and by the sound of things you will need time to get over him and you will find another guy how will not lie to you ,.......i had this problem and ive found someone that really cares good luck and take care xx

If you want this to work and you really want him to change then you got to help him with his problem. Don't make him feel that you are only concentrating on the lies. Tell him that you will support him and that you will work through this together. But if you think that this is not going to work, then forget about him. As you cannot teach an old dog new tricks.

Yes. Give him a chance! No, I'm just lying...tell him not to let the door hit his **** on the way out. Seriously, living with a pathological liar is a nightmare, and it is not worth it.

well as the saying goes "once a lier always a lier" if hes not gonna stop as soon as he said hes gonna change then hes just wasting ur time hes never gonna change show him how serious u are and dump his as* maybe if u do dat u will get thru to him faster ...
