As you attempt to get verification of your way of thinking and disregard those that do not think like you, thus believe that they can not comprehend you question. Truth is we do comprehend your question you just dont like the answer we give.

(The 'you' part does not necessarily mean you as a person but the person posing the question.)

I wish I knew. It seems that many people are willing to give legal advice when they are not lawyers and give wrong advice. They give advice on tax when they really have no clue. When it comes to medical matters everybody is an expert. As for Philosophical questions the field is rather loser as I think that anybody can give an opinion on philosophical matters even if they do not know the implications or the underlying theses. But it is more dangerous to give information in areas where professional advice is asked for and where bad advice may be very costly.

The philosophical ones are far and few between....I almost hate to ask a question because so many of the responses have been shallow and downright hateful....And, I would rather believe that people just aren't that wretched, but maybe I'm wrong.

It would be interesting to take a poll and find out what educational levels we're dealing with here.

I read the questions that you asked, and it just sounds like some people didn't agree with you in their answers. That's no reason to say that they can't understand the question. Maybe they did, and just disagreed with your reasoning.
That being said, I agree with your statement. It seems like there is always one or two people that will try to answer a question when they have no understanding of what the question is trying to ask.
I'm guessing that they honestly thought they understood, and were trying to give their opinion on things. I'm sure they weren't trying to be obnoxious (at least some of them).
Hope this helps!

Its not necessary to be real thinkers and philosophical to answer questions. People answer to express their views and ideas and thanks to yahoo, there is no restrictions on answering to a question and according to me ,expressing down the views and thoughts makes One's mind light and free. And of course , if their answers are irrelevant ,its the fault of the person who pose such incomprehensible questions!

Quite possibly the same reason that about 80% of people think they are smarter than average.

Better yet - why do people ask questions in which they can not possibly understand the answer?
