it all depends on the type of girl she is. if shes a preppy chearleader type(EWWW) then roses or stuffed animals is good. if she's a gothie punkie girl then maybe black roses or some cool punk jewelry, maybe a metal rock cd.

Well to me if this is our first date, I rather you didn't
bring me anything.
If you were to bring me a gift on our first date I
would think your trying to get on my good side and
and that would bother me.
I suggest you should pick up your date and open
the car door for her then close it for her and of
course when you get to the restaurant, again you
open the door for her then help her pull up her
chair. If their is a second date then bring her
maybe two or three long stems of roses with
different colors. I never think it's cute if someone
brought me a gift on our first date! So try not to
forget to open and close the door for her, it really
makes a different. When I first went on a date with
my boyfriend he held and closed the door for me
and till this day he still does it. (So Adorable)

Flowers, I love flowers.
And have your date planned out, you know, have an idea of what you're going to do. Where you're going to dinner, what time and what movie you're going to see, don't show up and ask her what she wants to do. That annoys the crap out of me!
