Siamese can bond with an entire family - not just a single person - and even to non-human family members. They are bred for intelligence and sociability, so they seek this and respond affectionately to whomever invests their time and attention with them. They will express their opinions, so they will act out when subjected to MEAN PEOPLE who fail to meet their basic needs or mishandle them. The folks who posted that their cats are mean should look to themselves for the reason.
Siamese form a more intense and interactive relationship with you than other cats because they need more from you. Be sure you want that level of attention or look for a less demanding breed.

Siamese cats are excellant. I have 4 now and have owned Siamese cats for many years. I wouldn't have any other breed. I have yet to see a mean Siamese.They are smart lively and loveable. They are real people cats . Lap cats also...

I have two Siamese cats and they are great. They fetch like dogs and are very chatty. If you want a cat to lie there and do nothing a Siamese cat is not for you. Every one I have had have been great with dogs and kids. They are really smart. You can get a chocolate point, flame point, blue point, seal point and tortoise. The tortoise shell only come as females.

No Siamese cat are not good. They are evil spawns of Satan. Yes they are smart and can do tricks and stuff but they are the meanest breed of cat out there. I have a cat that is half Siamese and he is mean. Just attacks anyone for no reason and is very hyper. True they are very loyal animals but they are mean. They have good and bad points but all pets do. Good points:loyal,smart,can do tricks,and protective. Bad points:Evil spawns of satan!!

I have experience with Siamese cats. They tend to be more of a "one-person" cat than other breeds. They are also usually VERY vocal. They like to talk, they like to voice their opinions and also their displeasure (if any). If you like to "talk" to your pets then a Siamese would be a good choice since they will talk back!

I've had 4 siamese cats over the years...and all very beautiful, loving, funny and talkative! I have other breeds of cats, but they are my favorite.

some siamese can be moody. they're best with just one person and if they're the only cat. i have a part siamese and luckly all she got was the great siamese look! she's very lovie, cuddly, and playful!

althought I prefere the Chinchilla cats since I have 2 but sure they are great ..
they say that siamese cast are the closest to a dog .. they can be trained and so on .. but still all cats can be trained
