Ok to start i have long thick curly frizzy hair. However i HATE it curly it gives me rashes and i never wear it that way. I always straighten it, ya i know damage... but i dont care about that i love it straight.

Schools starting and i want a new look. My hair is really thick even when straightened [ i do deep conddition and use frizzease often] and i want a medium length new look.

Im wondering if i can get it layered? I don't want any colors or anything cuz i use this thing called "Glatt Hair Straightener" its like a weak form of a relaxer and the chemicals dont work together for 3 months. So even with the glatt my hair is still crazy doesn't make a big difference.

PLEAASE i need a style! I have side bangs and i love them but i need the hair to WORK WITH ME. Im sick of LONG hair because it takes way too long to straighten. HELP ME AND ILL LOVE YOU :) haha seriously though im out of options!! MY dresser suggests blunt cuts but there ugly and boring... HELP !!

hey. ok i know where your coming from! well why dont you try gettig it thinned and layered about shoulder length and if you want get layers all the way like really short ones or just have your shortest leayer about 2-3 inches. this is like what i got now long ago and coming from long hair it is so much easier to look after! if you are worried about drying your hair out too much from straightening it, you can get some spray that you spray on your hair before you straighten your hair so then it dosnt damage! cool huh? and you can get sprays and gels thatyou put in your hair and it decreases the frizz without using a straightener. these are pretty cheap and are about $12.00. also i found that sometimes dying your hair can add a new look and make it look heaps better even if you still have the same style or not.
well i hope i have helped you in some sort of way.
good luck, ;)

sounds like we have pretty much the same kind of hair....i'm just too lazy to straighten mine (pony tale every day). i have in the past had it cut just below the shoulders with layers put in it. this helps to thin the hair out a little. plus it'll look really cute if you decide to leave it curly. if you would like to just tame the friz and leave it curly TIGI has some great products. their Sleek line works great for straightening and the Curls Rock gives the curl without the friz! they also have a line for curly/frizzy hair!

Hi, My hair is thick to.But i just grew it out, and i think it's here to stay.Anyway,When you get your hair cut and layer, have your cutter thin your hair for you.I have had this done several times. One way i pick a hair cut was looking through the magazines of hair cuts and styles. So,If your not sure do that.

why don't you get it razor cut. this will thin it out but it wont be blunt. go for long layers. you know kinda messy shaggy. it will be heaps easier to straighten.

you can get your hair permanently straight by going to a salon, they'll put relaxer in your hair and then brush it for about 20 mins, hope that helps!

if its really fussy i would sugest you look at some hair syling books and get it layered and relazer applied to it to ease the fuzz maybe a hot oil treatment.
