italian or French.
Love Mexican, but the beans can later be problematic if you have those.
Something with a nice light sauce like linguine with clam sauce. Nothing too filling, bloat is not good for after dinner romance.

Well, first meals together are hard, because you think about, getting it on you and it sticking in you teeth, and there is the bad breath factor(Onions and Garlic) so Italian is out. I would say Something light, because you really don't want to "do" anything after a heavy meal. Picnics are really romantic. Finger foods, that you could feed each other( grapes, olives, cheese and crackers) chocolate kisses for desert) For Evenings I would also keep to the same thing, but add a large salad to the meal with deli meat and cheese on the side. Bread sticks are fun to dip into sauces too. If you of age, always think about that glass of wine too. And always have fun. : ) (Never in a crowed place )

Personally, I love Mexican food but it should probably be avoided as a "date" food since many people have a hard time with spicy cuisine. Italian is good if it's not slippery or messy. It's hard for a gal to retain an air of class when she's slurping up noodles.
I once had a guy make me salmon, rice pilaf, salad, and strawberry shortcake. It was very simple but surprisingly good. For most girls, you can never go wrong with chicken.
My suggestion is to take simple foods and give them a gourmet flair. Take a garden salad and add toasted almonds and a vinaigrette. Cornish game hens always look like they took a lot of time but are very easy to make. Serve them with rice and mixed veggies and you're good to go. Concentrate on a sensual dessert like chocolate mousse or chocolate covered fruit (strawberries, cherries, and mandarin oranges)
If she's a keeper she will appreciate any effort....even if it isn't her favorites. Good luck!
P.S. Make sure you know the person you're cooking for....you don't want her to be allergic to nuts or a vegetarian.

The easiest food to cook is spagetti. You can do a salad and bread sticks. That will be easy to make, it goes with wine to get her in the mood, and you really can't screw up that meal - plus the salad would be good for those girls that want to watch their weight and eat less spagetti.

I DO NOT cook. I am terrible at it. But if a guy will cook for me, I will do all of the clean up for him.
