We can already do the immaculate conception and make planets disappear. Our cloning technology is already superior to that of god: we don't need to use a whole rib. It won't be long before we create new species, and I guess at that point, we'll have the edge.

Dear Keyser,
While man is starting to advance, you need to remember that even science was created by God. If you are quoting the Bible and saying that God created Eve from Adam's Rib than you must accept the other parts that speak of how he spoke everything into creation. Colossians 3 tells us that everything was created for and through him. Therefore any cloning and what not is not superior to God because you are using the very materials that God created. We are unable to create something from nothing.
It is true that the world is advancing so rapidly that man is trying to play God- but we lack the infinite wisdom, love and mercy of God.
No matter how wise we have gotten the Bible warns that pride is before destruction, haughtiness before a fall. And the fool has said in his heart there is no God. God is irreplaceable...

I don't think you know what the Immaculate Conception was. It's a made-up theology of the Catholic Church that Mary was born without sin. I don't believe scientist can do that, or make planets disappear. Scientist may know how to clone certain things using genetic material, but no scientist has any idea how to create a cell.

Can you make something from nothing? i dont mean come up with an idea, but actually make something from nothing. try walking on water as well. try telling a man who was dead for three days to get up and live. if you cant do any of these things, which are quite simple for God, than do not even think that you will become equal to God. by the way, that is liqid water that is over ten hundred feet deep.
