A week ago I got a plantars wart removed from the bottom of my foot. After the freezing of the wart, a decent sized blood blister formed. The blister has not decreased in size in the past 7 days and shows no signs of starting to dry up. Should I keep waiting or go ahead and pop because it is rather painful? thanks : )

Go see a doctor. It's not a good idea to burst it, even less of a good idea it's a bloody one.
The chances are it's just slow in the healing and pain killers are needed aswell as staying off your foot.

If you want to pop the blister, use a pin or needle that has first been held in a flame. This kills any bugs thus you will avoid any infection. Wipe any soot from the needle using a clean piece of cotton wool. Put fine ground pepper into the popped blister and cover with a plaster. No the pepper will not cause pain it will create an instant scab like covering of the wound and speed up the healing process thereof.

Sounds like you need to make a appointment at your doctors to see the practice nurse who will deal with this or get you some antibiotics because you may have a infection the area will feel hot if you have a infection, but the blister my look as if its not healing but may take some time as the blood is dry and is like a scab under the skin, do go and get it checked out just for peace of mind.

Call your doctor, let him know, but if you messed with it, that's what's wrong, they need to be left untouched, clean and alone, it takes time to heal, do not pop it, you may get an infection!

Chances are the blood your seeing is all dried up under the skin. That happened to me and I thought it was still fresh blood. Does it hurt if not, it's dry.
