Lets face it... pretty much everyone... in some way had been affected by our recent miltary actions. Either through the news, family, husbands or wives, or friends.
Me i have a retired navy grandfather, ex para-rescue airforce stepfather, ex army father... and my husband is a submariner...

One Grandfather served with The Hussars in WWI, the other was a RAF Officer. Husband is Army Officer. Dear friend, young Captain was killed in Iraq. Many close friends Army & RAF Officers....It's more a question of how many civilians I know!

My Grandpa is Retired Army, My parents were both Army, my cousin is in the Army right now, one of my co-workers is in the Army Reserves, another co-worked was in the Navy. I was in the Airforce myself for 4 years, plus some of my fellow airman i knew during my time in service are still in the military.

My husband is in the Navy, my father is retired Army, my
father-in-law is retired Army, my brother served ten years in the Army Active Duty, both my brother-in-law's served in the Army and I now have a nephew in the Army reserves. I also have a lot of friends that serve. I think that about covers it!

I was a Marine, so was my hubby. Three of my high school friends joined the Marine Corps. Four high school friends joined the Army. My dad was in National Guard, both grandfathers were Army. Great grandfather was in the Army.....need I go on.

Father is Retired Air Force (combat camera)
Brother was AD army, now a reserve
Father in law retired army
Brother in law was AD army, now a reserve after serving 2 tours in iraq

My grandfather was in the Army (the Korean War). My mother's friend had a daughter that was in the Army and died in Iraq in January 2004.

My roommate is in the army and getting ready to deploy while my best friend of about 9 years is deployed to iraq and will be there for the next 10 months or there abouts.

i was in the airforce and im now in the army, my mother was in the navy, as well as my father and uncle. my sister was married to a guy in the navy, i talked my cousin into joining the airforce
