A horse is tied to a 15 ft. rope and there is a bail of hay 25 ft. away from him. Yet the horse is able to eat from the bail of hay. How is this possible??

either the other end is not tied to anything, or
the stake its tied to is only 10ft away from the hay.

the rope would let him move for 30 feet in a straight line, so if he is at the end of it and the hay is towards the stake the rope is tied to, he can reach it with 5 feet left over.

well if the rope is tied to the horses tail and since the horse's body is pretty big it might reach?
