maybe its a mexican thing.im not mexican but everyone else here is and everybody eats it in houston,tx.

When I lived in Tucson, AZ, the school I went to had a large population of kids that went crazy for it. I moved away and didn't see it again until I moved to Las Cruces, NM.
It's certainly an aquired taste! I used to like it a lot, but it's been so long since I've had it that it tastes a little strange to me now. :)
And yes, it is a Mexican candy. I've never seen it anywhere other than places that have strong Mexican influences.
BTW, for the other person that asked, it has tamarind, chili powder, sugar, as well as other stuff. Those are the main flavors.

yes it is great drink it with yr beer put it on yr tongue then take a swig or u can eat sour candy amd beer mmmmmm mmmmm good.
