So leviticus also says tomatoes and shellfish are an abomination just like homosexuality - how come no one protests fisheries and tries to make them illegal, or farmers? Just curious.

Because it's really hard to hate tomato's and shellfish based upon religion, and even if ya did I doubt they really care one way or the other. Now if they were homosexual tomatoes and shellfish then it might be a different story. I wonder of tomatoes or shellfish have issues with us, we do eat them, gotta be some human hating produce and shellfish support groups out there?????

Tomatoes are originally from South-America and came to Europe some years after the discovery of that continent in 1492.
How can a book written long before that time declare tomatoes to be an abomination?

because they like tomatoes and shellfish, it was thought that tomatoes were poision for years and it was only witches that grew them, people are so silly, but you have to learn somehow i guess.
